Frantisek Sliz was born in 1899 in Hranice in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.He was a painter, printmaker and teacher, who worked in both Prague and Beroun. His creative work in the 20th century was completed by 1960. Frantisek Sliz died in January 1979 in Prague in the former Czechoslovakia.
